Job Description:
Digital Marketing Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Drive subscriber & community growth: Develop strategies to drive favorable word of mouth and engagement in online social media and offline channels, ultimately helping our clients achieve their business goals.
- Integrate with
Other Marketing Disciplines:
Collaborate with team members from other marketing disciplines, such as direct response, digital strategy, and experiential, to develop integrated campaigns that maximize effectiveness.
- Social Media Research and Recommendations: Conduct social media research and make recommendations about opportunities and threats facing current and prospective clients based on findings. Stay informed about social media trends and emerging channels/tools.
- Serve as a Front-
Line Ambassador:
Act as the highly visible front-line ambassador for clients in owned social channels, blogger engagement, media relationships, and other credible third-party sources.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the team subject matter expert for social media capabilities, including paid social advertising efforts, community management, social strategy, and social listening. Provide handson involvement in projects and deliver daily tactical support and leadership for client deliverables.
- Monitor Emerging Trends: Monitor, assess, and make formal recommendations around emerging social media trends relevant to our clients. Assist with the development of social strategy and campaign approaches, mapping social media programs with KPIs and client ROI.
Requirements:
- Inherent ability to connect and converse with people with varied backgrounds, particularly in online channels.
- Ability to thrive and collaborate in a fastpaced and quicklychanging environment.
- Active participant in social media channels with expertise in major platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Proficiency in deploying paid advertising campaigns within Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Strong creative and professional writing skills with an emphasis on brevity.
- 57 years of experience in social media execution, with the ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Experience with social media monitoring tools (e.g., Sysomos, Simply Measured, Radian6) and content management systems (e.g., Vitrue, Shoutlet, Spredfast).
