Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned F&B Operations Manager to oversee and enhance the food and beverage operations within a premium mall in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience from the luxury hotel and restaurant industry, ensuring high standards of service, innovation in food offerings, and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily F&B operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost control.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor F&B staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Lead by example in maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.
  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage the F&B budget, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Customer Experience:
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction through regular interaction and feedback.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas to enhance the F&B offerings.
  • Vendor and Supplier Management:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of quality products.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for the F&B division.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives to promote the F&B outlets within the mall.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of 10-20 years in F&B operations, preferably within luxury hotels and high-end restaurants.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
