Your field of responsibility
You will be part of the APAC Client Asset Protection (CAP) Governance team based in Pune office.

Your team is responsible for the oversight of the production processes for the CAP team, ensuring appropriate partner concerns are made and operational improvements are implemented.

Your team is responsible for driving the monthly governance forums, data analytics & reporting, and review of client asset related incidents including remediation.

In partnership with the Business, Line Operations teams, Compliance and Risk teams, your main responsibilities include the following:

  • Oversee the APAC Client Asset Production processes within the team as well as the key metrics (i.e. KPIs, KRIs) for Client Asset across the Line Operations teams to ensure that key risks are identified, promptly advanced, and properly remediated
  • Drive the monthly FronttoBack governance forums and maintain strong partnership with collaborators including the Business heads, Operations country managers, Line operations management, Compliance, Risk, and Internal Audit
  • Ensure compliance with client asset regulations across APAC jurisdictions and Bank's internal policies
  • Faceoff with external parties or regulatory bodies in demonstrating compliance with the client asset regulations
  • Perform data analytics and generate reports to identify risk indicators, themes, and trends
  • Ensure processes, controls and documentations are current and complete
  • Ensure business continuity plans are properly documented, tested, and updated regularly
  • Support internal and external audits, reviews, and exams
  • Dedicated delivery for change programs and initiatives
  • A committed data provider for accurate, complete, and timely reports to downstream users for regulatory obligations and report submissions
  • Collaborate with the APAC Client Asset Change and Control team based in Singapore to: (a) drive the change program and development of the Client Asset Tool and related infrastructure; (b) support the implementation of the Client Asset Risk and Control Framework.

Your skills and experience

You are expected to possess:

  • Degree holder with at least 810 years of banking experience in Operations or Risk and Control, preferably with client asset protection, asset servicing, settlement and/or cleared derivative experience
  • Expert product knowledge and experience on cleared/OTC derivatives, securities, FX, money market, fixed income and loans is preferred
  • Experience in leading a team with a strong sense of trust and collaboration is essential
  • Proven ability to innovate, deliver and inspire change
  • Strong control approach and analytical skills, competent in process review and high degree of accuracy is required
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Phenomenal written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Committed to forge strong working relationships across departments in a global organization and experienced in dealing cross culturally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
