We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Bilingual Business Analyst with proficiency in both Japanese and English languages. As a key member of our dynamic team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the communication gap between our stakeholders and the development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software development processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts in both Japanese and English.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements Analyze and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications Act as a liaison between Japanese-speaking stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals Facilitate meetings, discussions, and presentations in both Japanese and English Create comprehensive documentation, including user stories, use cases, and process flows Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that developed solutions meet the specified requirements and are free from defects Conduct testing and validation activities as needed Identify and assess potential risks and challenges related to project delivery Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks Provide training and support to end-users in both Japanese and English Address and resolve issues or concerns raised by stakeholdersRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects Proficiency in both Japanese and English languages (spoken and written) is essential Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with agile development methodologies Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP or equivalent) is a plus Knowledge of Japanese business culture
