About the role

We want you to join our team if you're a talented front-end developer with a knack for quickly grasping web user interfaces and turning complex process concepts into simple, easy-to-use, and fast navigation workflows. Our team is made up of a manager, copywriter, UI/UX designer, performance manager, marketing operations manager, and a senior front-end developer. We are full of ideas and energy. We are always on the lookout for new technology and innovative ways to represent Openprovider's core values and bring our mission to life. We are relentless in our pursuit to deliver increasingly effective and engaging pages across all our platforms. We're seeking a Frontend Engineer to join our UI/UX team. This team is focused on providing frontend solutions to multiple projects and tooling to the whole company.

What you will do
As a contributor, you are passionate about product design and user experience. You have a collaborative mindset backed by excellent communication skills and a desire to help us make great decisions in an empathetic and respectful way. You're user-focused and love building great products. We're looking for someone with high standards, who can set the bar for excellence in product development.

You have a team-first mentality and work collaboratively. This role is as much about accelerating the team around you as it is about getting things done yourself. You think in terms of tools and systems. You'll be responsible for critical parts of our development toolchain and will constantly be thinking about how to improve them.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and API teams to deliver amazing user interfaces for multiple products
  • Collaborate with the User Experience and Design team to develop user stories, refine user experience
  • Discuss and share technological choices with the rest of team
  • Implement interfaces and component
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of experience with React, Next JS
  • Advanced knowledge of HTTP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • Familiarity with GraphQL
  • High level of autonomy with strong collaboration skills
  • A healthy sense of urgency, with an ability to drive towards delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with Google Sheets API.
  • Experience working with Tailwind CSS


Bonus points if you have

  • Experience with at least one of the following: unit testing, integration testing, and functional testing.
  • Experience with Vercel.
  • Familiarity with WordPress Blog Development
  • Familiarity with common design tools such as Figma and Storybook
  • Front End Security best practices
  • Webpack, Vite, Parcel, or similar build tools.
