Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of the restaurant's guests and budget.
  • Oversee the preparation of all food items, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Manage the kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
  • Maintain the kitchen's inventory and ordering system.
  • Comply with all food safety regulations.
  • Represent the restaurant at industry events and tradeshows.
  • Registers to be maintained.
  • Briefing to be done accordingly.
  • Should be able to guide mentor and motivate the staff.
  • Should have basic computer knowledge.
  • Preparing duty charts for staff.
  • Should have a good PR.
  • Should be able to satisfy guest with different presentations and chefs specialty dish.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef.
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for food and the culinary arts.
