  • champion risk management in partnership with the Business Areas
  • monitor and report on thepliance and operational risk portfolio for Control tasks
  • actively support risk-relatedmittees ( preparing materials)
  • support thepletion of the Business Risk and Control Assessments
  • proactively participate and initiate risk management interaction with key business partners (Research Management,pliance, Legal, etc.) and internal auditors/external examiners for Control related tasks
  • track, report and coordinate closure of identified issues
  • proactively challenge the Business Risk Framework for Control related topics
  • assist other teams as and when ad hoc work is assigned
Your team
Risk Team for Global Research and Evidence Lab" is part of the Investment Bank. Team helps to protect the firm from regulatory, reputational, and operational risk.

Team Supports bank globally by analyzing intellectual properties, assisting in internal audits, tracking/follow-up of mandatory trainings/affirmations and other research application access management requirements.

One of the Team's key objectives is to ensure all regulatory requirements as well as UBS internal policies for Research are meet globally.

The scope of the Team includes liaising with various global Teams who take part in the Research Publication process, as well as working on various operational tasks to monitor and supervise thepliance of the department for the scope of disclosure and Controls tasks.

Your expertise

  • excellent written and verbalmunication skills
  • proficient in MS Office (High proficiency in Excel and Word)
  • strong negotiation and influence skills
  • proven track record of delivering results and meeting targets/requirements
  • track record of successfully supporting business users with reporting & analytics, decision support, and presentation support
  • ability to interact with all levels of management, multi-task and work well under pressure
  • clean regulatory track record
  • analytical, consultative and investigative skills and an independent, driven approach
  • understanding of regulatory environment and industry trends
  • organized, analytical and able to readily interpret data, including legal andpliance-related materials
  • self-confident, have strong judgment and evidence of sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
