ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Check the manifold room every day (Oxygen cylinder, Date of fixation, check whether it's empty or filled).
  • Verify the posted GA patients for the day.
  • Check the anesthesia machines working conditions daily.
  • Keep anesthesia machine standby mode at any time for usage.
  • Keep emergency drugs ready (available) on the machine every day.
  • Check the working condition of the suction apparatus every day.
  • Monitor the high risk patients throughout surgery in the OT.
  • Bimonthly rounds in the ward to check the emergency medicines, crash carts including all equipments.
