Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting our clients on multiple projects on research and Analytics related to Leveraged and Acquisition FinanceThis job requires working closely with clients developing investment memorandum, credit memos and detailed cash flow models.

Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support potential dealsBuilding detailed financial model for the company including historical operating & financial metrics projections with detailed revenue drivers and cost assumptions, capital structure analysis, de-leveraging potential based on forecasted free cash flowsHaving an understanding of Term sheets, understanding of covenants, etc would be helpful

Key Tasks:

Cash flow modelling:Candidate should be proficient in creating a dynamic and a fully functioning financial model (including historicals and projections)The candidate needs to be fully proficient with the understanding of 3 statements (P&L, BS, CF) and implication of changing one variable on other line itemsAnalysis of financial statements including Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement (incl.

Free cash flow, funds from operations) of public and private companiesShould be able to prepare CF from BS and IS and make assumptions for next 5 year projections of CFStrong understanding of financial projections based on management guidance, company budget and consensus estimates. This will include creating various scenarios like management case, sponsor case, upside and downside case etc.

Preparing detailed capital structure and debt amortization schedules, including pro forma adjustment for acquisitionsAnalyzing the pro forma credit metrics like total leverage, interest coverage, fixed charge coverage etc.

Also understanding to make capitalization adjustment in such ratiosPreparing detailed query list for clients to address any concerns in historical financials / justify future projections.

Preparation of detailed information memorandums / credit memos including financial commentary, industry research, and hypothetical model case scenarios using secondary research and other databases.

Valuation using different methodologies – Trading, transaction comparables, DCFIndustry and company overview, and other adhoc researchMeet project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure "high client satisfaction"Conducting quality control check of the outgoing reports / packsEngage client independently on calls and e-mailsProduce high quality informative and visually appealing presentations and deck
Key Qualification and CompetenciesPost-Graduation in Finance or equiv. qualification (CFA, MBA (finance), CA or equiv.)Minimum 5+ years of relevant experienceExcellent written and spoken communication skills with experience in Client handlingShould be able to work independently with minimal guidanceShould be well versed with MS Office suite specially Microsoft Excel and Power Point (extensive use of excel models, word and powerpoint)Working knowledge of database such as Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, Factset, Thomson, etc
