Job Purpose

To execute quick and time bound best- in- class Technical Services to assigned customers in the region thus ensuring satisfactory Performance of our product to the customers. Effective redressal of Customer complaints within defined timeline.
Drive improvement projects jointly with customers.
Ensure regular analysis of VSF product performance at market place for continuous improvement.

Job Context & Major Challenges

Job Context:
At present fiber business is marketing its product from its three plants at India to Central and Eastern India Market (UP, Bihar, Maharashtra and Rajasthan). Every month app 10000 MT material is dispatched to various customers. Primarily our material is used in Spinning and having various technologies. The job holder is the key person to ensure performance of our product at customers' shop floor in his territory.
1. The job holder has to plan a detail sensitivity grid for the customer of his region and to ensure smooth performance of our product at customer's right from dispatch of correct material.
2. In discharging this he has to lead decisions during critical dispatches and if case need be has to advise customer for optimization of process.
3. In a view to sustain customer loyalty the job holder is to take lead role to improve value proposition of our product with customer and to lead improvement projects that is co created in partnership with customers 4) The Job holder has a lead role to analyze past performance of product and feedback from customers. Based on analysis he has to plan, coordinate and conclude improvement projects He has to ensure such projects must add significant value to performance of our product.
4. The Job holder is responsible for quick and effective redressal of complaint reported by customers on performance of product.
5. Further to this Job holder is to gather information on customers process capability, Product performance of competition in order to build up meaningful database which can be helpful for strategic decision of management
Major Challenges:
1. Major challenge in this position is sheer diversity of product portfolio, variety of technology in which it is being used.
2. The job holder has the responsibility to carefully plan and lead improvement projects in coordination with respective plant. The task has enormous opportunity to add value to product performance.
3. The job holder has to keep himself updated with advent of new technologies, (Viz Ring , OE, Vortex) new products in the market place and new quality regulations as well.
4. The job holder is the first contact point for customer for complaints. He has the responsibility to ensure minimal value loss to customer as well as to organisation during redressal of complaint.
