Joining the SBA team as the IT Security and Support Associate means playing a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's digital infrastructure and delivering top-notch desktop support. This position requires a mix of technical expertise, strategic planning, and effective communication to establish and execute strong cybersecurity measures and IT procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to safeguard sensitive information and systems from cyber threats.
  • Provide comprehensive desktop support to resolve hardware and software issues, enhancing operational efficiency and employee productivity.
  • Draft, update, and observe IT process documents, encompassing security protocols, operational processes, and best practices.
  • Conduct routine security assessments and audits to proactively identify weaknesses and enforce necessary actions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to customize IT support and security solutions that cater to the unique requirements of our diverse teams.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to ensure SBA's IT procedures stay ahead of potential risks.

Qualifications

  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT support positions focusing on cybersecurity and process documentation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current cybersecurity methods, tools, and risk management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and adeptness at handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to articulate complex IT concepts in simple terms.
  • Relevant industry certifications will be considered advantageous.
