Job Description:

  • This is a fulltime onsite role as a Regional Sales Manager role at DGM level, based at Sales Office in Chennai. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business in a given segment to expand our customer base and achieve business objectives.
  • Key responsibilities for this position are mentioned below. The position will report directly to the COO at Head Office.
  • Setting sales plans and targets in alignment with business objectives for the assigned portfolio of commodity chemical products
  • Meeting regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing and reviewing quarterly budgets; analysing price variances; initiating corrective actions.\
  • Responsible for proper coverage of business territory by identification of new customers to ensure budgeted growth and create new business opportunities within the region.
  • Analysing regional market trends, understanding competitors strategy/activities, and developing regional sales and marketing plans to ensure long and shortterm goals are achieved.
  • Create and maintain relationships with various customers and development of dealer & Distributor networks to facilitate smallquantity sales as required.
  • Understand customers' needs/requirements, test potential ideas and solutions, and collaborate with the Technical Service team to better serve the customers.
  • Effectively manage a team of sales and marketing professionals and are accountable to achieve assigned team targets for the region.
  • Addressing customer complaints & ensuring prompt resolution of the same.
  • Maintaining and increasing sales trends with timely collection of payments.
  • Timely and accurate completion of all reporting requirements including visit plans, customer call reports, monthly reports, monthly forecasts, midterm planning forecasts, and variance
Preferred candidate profile :

B.Sc. Chemistry/BE/B Tech Chemical/Plastics/Polymers. Additional qualification such as MBA or Any other Management Degree will be preferred


Proven experience as Regional Sales Manager or similar Roles; Techno-commercial skills, having 15+ years relevant experience in the Petro- Chemical industry, Chemicals Industry, PVC Industry (Resins, Additives).


  • Should have experience in handling sales volume of MT PM
  • Managed a Team of 34 Sales and Marketing professionals.
