About the Position:

Joining the UX team at Cvent means bringing empathy, delight, and a user-centric approach to UX design. Content designers go beyond the words, advocating for users by working closely with various teams to create a product narrative that guides users effectively and provides the information they seek in a clear, human-friendly manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Champion content design and UX across the organization
  • Contribute to defining the vision and strategy for UXCD
  • Take part in shaping the vision and strategy for Cvent products at the platform level
  • Mentor junior designers and support their career growth
  • Engage in activities that foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture within UX
  • Lead collaboration efforts with different stakeholders to ensure consistency in language across Cvent products
  • Participate in discussions aligning UX goals with business objectives and user needs
  • Lead content-focused research initiatives and provide guidance to junior designers
  • Offer feedback to junior content designers to elevate the quality of their work

Qualifications:

  • Degree in English, Writing, Communications, Design, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Content Design, UX Writing, or related field
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating content design and design thinking skills
  • Experience in content design for software applications
  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for enhancing user experiences through design and tech
  • Familiarity with human-centered design principles
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on the bigger picture
  • Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
  • Keen eye for grammar and content style
  • Ability to manage timelines effectively
  • Adaptable and emotionally intelligent
