Job Title:
Site Timekeeper

Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Record and track daily attendance of onsite personnel, including start and end times, breaks, and any deviations from regular schedules.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors to gather information on project progress, shifts, and workforce requirements.
  • Input and maintain accurate time and attendance data into the designated tracking system or software.
  • Generate regular reports on attendance, hours worked, and other relevant timerelated metrics.
  • Assist in payroll processing by providing accurate and timely information on worked hours, overtime, and any additional allowances.
  • Address and resolve discrepancies or issues related to timekeeping records promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with onsite personnel to ensure compliance with timekeeping policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about company policies, labor laws, and industry regulations affecting timekeeping practices.
  • Implement and enforce timekeeping best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR or project management team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in timekeeping or related fields is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a timekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in a construction or projectbased environment.
  • Familiarity with timekeeping software and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including data entry and report generation.
  • Understanding of labor laws and regulations related to timekeeping.
  • Problemsolving mindset with the ability to address issues promptly.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
