Seeking a Technical Business Analyst who can translate business needs into technical requirements, along with the understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, integration specifications, and testing methodologies.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and relevant teams to gather and document business requirements for financial services applications.
  • Analyse API's, associated business processes, workflows, and system requirements to document and drive effective solutions.
  • Create comprehensive functional/technical specification documents for development and integration projects.
  • Document API specifications including (but not limited to) the metadata, constraints and the data mapping/transformation rules.
  • Effectively communicate your insights and plans to crossfunctional team members and management.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation and successful testing.
  • Plan and execute testing activities, including defining test cases and conducting user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions align with business objectives and industry regulations.
  • Assist in user training and support, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working on Rest API's is a must. Should be able to analyse third party API documentation and collate technical requirements for the new API's to be developed.
  • Have documented open API specifications using tools like Swagger.
  • Proficient in information gathering, documentation, and creation of functional specification documents.
  • Basic understanding of business processes and IT systems.
  • Experience in financial services applications, especially in Banking would be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, including test case development and user acceptance testing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Detailoriented mindset with excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Relevant certifications in business analysis or related fields (optional).
