Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual test cases and test scenarios to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications in an agile development environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of sprint-based test plans.
  • Identify, document, and report software defects and inconsistencies in a clear and concise manner, aligning with the iterative nature of agile development.
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and edge cases, adapting to the evolving software requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports, ensuring they are up-to-date with each sprint.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to collaborate effectively with the development team.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved and no new issues have been introduced in each iteration.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process by suggesting enhancements and identifying areas for automation within the agile framework.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Actively learn and stay updated with the latest agile testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Strong passion for software quality assurance and a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and understanding of iterative and incremental testing practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and pay attention to detail in a dynamic agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional agile team.
  • Proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes in an agile setting.
  • Knowledge of basic programming concepts and experience with scripting languages is advantageous.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality software and ensuring an exceptional user experience in an agile development lifecycle.
