Role Overview:

Your responsibilities will include:

Defining Product Vision and Strategy:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to craft a clear product vision and strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Developing and maintaining a product roadmap outlining the journey to achieving product objectives.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

  • Conducting market research to pinpoint customer needs, market trends, and opportunities.
  • Evaluating competitors' products to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential areas for differentiation.

Customer Focus and Engagement:

  • Collecting and analyzing customer feedback to shape product decisions.
  • Collaborating with customer support and sales teams to grasp customer pain points and areas for enhancement.

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Examining product performance data to gauge success and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Utilizing data for informed decision-making and hypothesis validation.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Articulating product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders and team members.
  • Fostering collaboration and alignment across different teams for a smooth product development process.

Launch and Go-to-Market:

  • Devising go-to-market strategies and collaborating with marketing and sales teams for successful product launches.
  • Tracking post-launch performance and refining the product based on feedback and data.

Required Skills:

  • Prior experience in a Martech based Product company.
  • Outstanding communication skills, B.Tech/Engineering educational background is mandatory.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a Martech based Product company.
  • Understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) and their integration into products for enhanced functionality and user experience.

Technical Skills:

Product Lifecycle Management:
Comprehension of the product development stages from idea generation to launch and post-launch maintenance.

Data Analysis:
Capability to analyze data for informed decision-making about product direction and performance.

Market Research:
Engaging in and analyzing market research to comprehend customer needs and market opportunities.

Project Management:
Proficiency in managing timelines, resources, and tasks effectively.

  • User Experience (UX)

Design:
Basic grasp of UX principles to ensure a user-friendly product that caters to customer needs.

Agile Methodology:
Familiarity with agile frameworks and practices such as Scrum or Kanban.

Soft Skills:

Communication:
Robust verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, information, and coordinate with various stakeholders.

Leadership:
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and steer product vision.

Problem-Solving:
Sharp analytical skills to identify issues, think critically, and devise effective solutions.

Swift and efficient decision-making even with limited information.

Negotiation:
Proficiency in negotiating with stakeholders, customers, and vendors.

Empathy:
Understanding and considering the needs and emotions of customers and team members.

Roadmapping:
Devising and upholding a product roadmap that guides towards achieving product objectives.

Assessing competitors' products to pinpoint opportunities and threats.

Comprehension of the financial aspects of product management including budgeting, pricing strategies, and financial metrics.

Maintaining high standards of quality and functionality in the product.

Tools Familiarity:

Product Management Tools:
Experience with tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or Productboard.

Analytics Tools:
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar analytics platforms.

Wireframing and Prototyping Tools:
Basic knowledge of tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
