Mission
  • Support setting up a new global IT purchasing organization.
  • Assist in standardizing IT purchasing processes in the region.
  • Collaborate within the global organization to ensure continuous service provisioning.

Objectives

  • Operational procurement: Handle purchase requests and follow up on deliveries in the IT segment.
  • Manage invoice investigations for invoices with a PO.
  • Proactively communicate with business users, IT organization, and suppliers.

General purchase admin support

  • Advise users on company purchase policies.
  • Support customers with various procurement tools.
  • Conduct ad-hoc sourcing activities (assist in supplier selection for IT hardware accessories, telecom services, etc.).
  • Monitor process changes and ensure documentation is up to date. Generate reports on demand.

Experience Requirements

  • Technical background or interest and ability to stay updated with recent technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
  • Well-organized and capable of working independently in line with local and global guidelines.
  • Hands-on experience in engaging with IT vendors and suppliers is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with vendor management methodology, including coordination, follow-ups, quality of products/services, milestones, vendor interactions, and communications.
  • General knowledge of business processes.

Knowledge / Educational Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in IT, Purchasing & supply management area, or equivalent through experience.

Personality

  • The role demands a high level of collaboration, so strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success.
  • A proactive approach is preferred, with a commitment to meeting expectations and objectives within the given responsibilities and flexibility.
  • Structured, service-oriented, and adaptable to change. Good communication, analytical, and administrative skills are crucial for this role.
