Your Impact
The Loans Engineering Technology team is on the lookout for talented developers during an exciting period of growth. The team's current focus involves scaling the business while automating servicing and settlement processes to triple the Loans Trading business and reduce data discrepancies across various systems at GS. Additionally, this role offers an opportunity to establish a robust network consisting of the brightest minds in the industry from diverse engineering, Operations teams, and Controllers.
How will you fulfill your potential?
As a key member of the Loans Engineering Technology team, you will provide support to Loans Operations across different business units, primarily focusing on Loan Asset Servicing, Settlements, and Middle Office functions. Your value lies in crafting scalable solutions for reuse across revenue-generating divisions, such as constructing an automated and unified Loans Servicing platform. Furthermore, you will collaborate with Engineers in Asia, Europe, and New York to define requirements for new business ventures and application enhancements. Leveraging your full-stack engineering expertise, you will interact with stakeholders regularly to gather requirements and resolve production issues.

- Database Technologies: Elasticsearch, DB2, MongoDB
- Micro Service Technologies: REST, Spring Boot
- Build and CI/CD Technologies: GitLab
Basic Qualifications
- Strong academic background in a relevant STEM field (Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics)
- Experience communicating technical concepts in English to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to solve problems and articulate underlying concepts
- Over 5 years of experience with full-stack development, end-to-end testing, and continuous integration
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Slang/SecDB and PURE/Alloy modeling
- Advanced proficiency in Java
- Intermediate skills in Python and React/Angular
- Foundational knowledge of GitLab
- Basic understanding of SQL/NoSQL and Elasticsearch
