Job Overview: Our client, a renowned architectural firm committed to delivering quality, innovative and aesthetically pleasing designs. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager, with experience in the construction industry to join their dynamic team and contribute to the successful execution of architectural projects.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with client expectations and architectural design specifications.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, ensuring seamless communication and effective project execution.
- Construction Oversight: Manage on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to architectural plans, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
- Client Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the construction phase.
- Budget Monitoring: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, making informed decisions to optimize project profitability and resource allocation.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively implement strategies to mitigate challenges, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about and ensure compliance with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards in Nigeria.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold quality control processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality construction projects in line with architectural standards.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
- Prior experience in an architectural firm is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and construction best practices.
- Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with Nigerian building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the architectural or construction industry. - Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and multidisciplinary teams. - Strong understanding of architectural design principles, urban planning concepts, and project management methodologies. - Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Knowledge of relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards.
