What you will be doing

  • Plans and coordinates all aspects of projects / sprints from initiation through delivery.
  • Owner of defect management process, resolution, and reporting.
  • Manages project initiation activities including managing related contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts and access to existing information as needed.
  • Develops, defines and executes project plans, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Includes managing artifacts, adherence to practices and patterns, change requests, etc.
  • Expected to manage sprint details, assigned tasks, and progress via Jira.
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.

What you bring:

  • Must have 8 12 years of work experience in information technology within at least 6 years as Project Manager
  • Should have min 4+ years of experience in Scrum master's in development projects
  • Should have 4+ years of experience in Agile development projects
  • Should have extensively worked on min 4 development projects and & managing large and complex projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
  • Extensively worked on various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation

Added bonus if you have

  • Mainframe / Java projects working exposure
  • SAFe working exposure at least year
  • Knowledge of FIS' products and services
  • Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
