Job Overview:


Arm's Central Emulation team is very thrilled to work with Industry experienced Emulation experts in Bengaluru who will join hands with other design and verification engineers spread across UK, US, India and France to support outstanding Compute Subsystems and SoC projects.

Arm is building a team to develop outstanding silicon demonstrators based on Arm's IP compute sub-system solutions targeting premium mobile, infrastructure and automotive markets.

Using the latest nodes (e.g. 3nm) and new SoC 3D packaging developments, Arm's ambition is to demonstrate industry best-in-class performance by architecting, designing, implementing, and fabricating powerful silicon test chips.

This is a wonderful and outstanding initiative, where we are bringing in innovative talent and expertise from across the semiconductor industry to drive how the next generation of leading compute on Arm devices are built across the industry, opening up significant potential for the future.

Would you like to play a key role in defining the SoC growth story in Arm?Responsibilities:

Working with end users to understand system use cases to help guide validationEnsuring a tight loop between hardware qualification and the final application use modelsGetting yourself into an exciting emulation world of Hybrid, Virtual Solutions, Industry standard High/Low speed IO IPs based subsystems and integration into SoCfrom early architecture and design inputs, to pre-silicon validation, to enable post-silicon validation on emulation platformMotivated individuals to drive Pre-Silicon story of Emulation across entire SoC teamsThe team's early engagement with the design team ensures that quality and debuggability are built into the designWe support architecture, verification, System validation, Performance, Power, DFT teams with insights from performance & power characterization to guide future improvementsWe work directly with the verification team to enable a comprehensive pre and post silicon test planWe write tests, build bare metal drivers for industry standard IO IPs, enable frameworks that will allow us to reuse and scale testing from pre-silicon platforms to many ASIC projectsRequired Skills and Experience :


BE or BTech in Electronics EngineeringCandidate must have 8+ years of experience in Pre-Silicon Validation, Emulation/FPGA based platformsExperience in developing C/C++/SystemC tests in HDL-HVL Co-emulation platformsExperience in IO bus protocols such as I2C, SPI, USB, and/or PCIeExperience in debugging tools for systems-on-chip (SoCs) - eg.


JTAG, Trace32"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience :
Knowledge of ASIC design flow, ASIC prototyping flow, and similarKnowledge of SystemC/C/C++ and UVM/SV verification languagesExperience in these domains: PCIe, Flash, Memory, CPU, GPU, DRAMExperience with
