Job Overview:
As the AssistantManager of Supplier Quality for Electronic Components you will playa critical role in ensuring that all electronic components procuredby the company meet the required quality standards.
You will beresponsible for implementing and maintaining robust quality controlmeasures across the supplier base conducting audits providingguidance to suppliers for quality improvements and collaboratingclosely with crossfunctional teams to resolve any quality issuesthat may arise.
KeyResponsibilities:1.
SupplierEvaluation and Approval:
Assistin the evaluation and approval of electronic component suppliersbased on predefined quality criteria.
Conduct initial and periodicassessments of supplier capabilities quality systems andmanufacturing processes.

Quality Control and Assurance:
Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards forelectronic components in alignment with industry regulations andcompany requirements.
Monitorand analyze supplier performance metrics to ensure compliance withquality standards and specifications.

Supplier Development andImprovement:
Collaborate withsuppliers to identify areas for quality improvement and implementcorrective and preventive actions.
Provide technical guidance andsupport to suppliers in resolving quality issues and implementingbest practices.

Audit andCompliance:
Plan and executesupplier audits to assess adherence to quality standardsregulations and contractual requirements.
Generate audit reports trackfindings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.

CrossfunctionalCollaboration:
Work closely withcrossfunctional teams including procurement engineeringmanufacturing and quality assurance to address qualityrelatedissues and drive continuous improvement.
Participate in supplierselection processes and provide input on qualityrelatedconsiderations.

Training andDevelopment:
Conduct trainingsessions for internal stakeholders and suppliers on qualityrequirements standards and processes.
Keep abreast of industry trendsbest practices and regulatory updates related to electroniccomponent quality.
7.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of customer interactionsquality investigations and corrective actions.
Keep a track of internal issueslog customer complaints log customer returns (if any) due tocomponent issues.
Track yieldreports / internal failure data tracking and actions in place.
Maintain accurate records ofsupplier quality performance audit findings and corrective actions.
Prepare regular reports andpresentations for management review highlighting key qualitymetrics trends and improvement initiatives.

Compliance and Standards:
Ensure compliance with industrystandards and customerspecific quality requirements for products& processes.
Stayabreast of evolving standards and regulatoryrequirements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 69 years ofexperience in supplier quality management preferably in theelectronic components industry.
Strong understanding of electronic component manufacturingprocesses quality control methodologies and industry standards(e.g. ISO 9001 IPCA610).
Experience in conducting supplier audits and implementingcorrective actions.
Excellentanalytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Effective communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with diverseteams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in quality management tools and software applications.
Other Skills Preferred:
Certification in quality management (e.g. Lean Six Sigma AS/ISOInternal auditor etc).
Familiarity with industryspecific quality standards and IPCA610& JSTD Class3 requirements
Experience with electronictesting equipment and tools.
Ability to manage internal issues and keep regular internalcommunication with team and CFT
Thorough understanding about EMS manufacturing practices andmethods
