Who is the Software Project Lead (Industrial Operations Lead) at Wipro Linecraft AI?

Reporting to the Head of Application Development, the Software Project Lead will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and scaling deployment and configuration processes of the Linecraft AI product and adapting it to various use-cases.


You'll be in charge of:
Configuring the Linecraft product to suit various types of manufacturing lines and assets.
Prototyping various communication protocols, and interfaces with newly encountered industrial controllers.
Formulating rules to standardise machinery to streamline data operations.
Creating scalable processes to deploy projects in the industry.
Working closely with the engineering and product teams to prioritize specific customer requirements.
Tracking customer issues and bringing in resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction
Interacting with customers for ongoing projects to find new opportunities.
Managing analysis for a portfolio of projects.
Finding new use cases, generalising it and automating it into the product.
Managing projects end-to-end involving global players in manufacturing.
Being the liaison between domain expertise and software development.
This role may also involve travelling to various plants located across the globe (currently serving in parts of Asia and North American areas)

Interacting with multiple stakeholders on customer side as well as internally to make the project deployments a success and win-win situation for all.


More about you:
You have a B.Tech/B.E in any engineering field
At least 3+ years of experience working and managing projects in the manufacturing domain
You have experience in managing a team of engineers for integration and deployment of projects.
You are a highly motivated self-starter, eager to make an impact in this space.
You have a demonstrated capability in solving unstructured problems in industry.
You are a great communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills too.
You are detail oriented and have a penchant for complex problems.

You're extra awesome if:
You have a deep understanding of

manufacturing processes .
You have experience in

Python

and a querying language such as

SQL .
You have a

data science

background or completed related coursework.
Have worked on deployment and configuring

SCADA, IOT platforms, deploying PC based applications

for the manufacturing field.
