JOB SUMMARY:

This role is to focus on client engagements in the remit of brand positioning/repositioning, innovation strategy, category vision, brand architecture and portfolio strategy based on insight. This role leads projects from brief through to successful delivery with support from a business team. It is also responsible for growing existing and new client relationships.

REPORTING: Chief Strategy Officer - Havas Media

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Helps our most senior clients shape their marketing strategy, from sizing market opportunities and setting annual objectives, to mapping a communications architecture, audiences and messaging.
  • Ensures that strategic inputs are fed into the business teams and accounts leads.
  • Relentlessly raise the bar of best practice across the account, pushing beyond the bounds of traditional marketing and embedding the brand into culture.
  • Nurturing the capabilities and careers of other junior team members.
  • Deep understanding of traditional and digital media channels.
  • Familiarity with emerging media trends and technologies.
  • Awareness of media consumption habits across different demographics.
  • Experience in developing media plans that align with marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of media buying processes and negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to optimize media spend to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Proficiency in analyzing media performance data and metrics.
  • Capability to interpret insights from media analytics to inform strategy.
  • Understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and their impact on campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience in creating integrated marketing campaigns across multiple media channels.
  • Ability to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all media platforms.
  • Ability to craft media strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Knowledge of audience targeting and segmentation techniques.
  • Expertise in leveraging media to support overall marketing objectives.
  • Continuous monitoring of industry trends and media innovations.
  • Ability to adapt strategies based on the latest media developments.
  • Proactive approach to experimenting with new media channels and formats.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing strategy with senior client management.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience working closely with senior account leaders and business teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
