The QA & Testing Engineer works with the test team to develop testing strategies and devise test plans in order to ensure that applications meet business requirements and maintain Deutsche Bank's high quality standards.

The QA & Testing Engineer takes a lead role in the establishment or execution of one or more test specialties for a larger testing unit or programme.

The QA & Testing Engineer identifies the tasks and resources needed to ensure that their specialised portion of the testing process meets software quality requirements prior to release into a live environment.

The QA & Testing Engineer may specialise in a specific area of the testing process such as test automation, performance testing, testing process, test environments, test data provisioning.

In this context the QA & Testing Engineer will specialise in relevant tools such as Performance Centre, Quick Test Professional, Quality Centre/ALM and Jira.

Alternately the QA and Testing Engineer may possess or demonstrate specialist Business Testing knowledge or exceptional business/functional expertise.

and aboveYour key responsibilitiesWe are looking for a highly skilled test automation engineer to design automation tests. Test automation engineers' duties include designing automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems. You should also be committed to developing skills to provide up-to-date solutions. Proficiency in programming language Java, Selenium with API testing.
Creating an automation test plan and getting approvalIdentifying and selecting the automation test casesDesigning and developing test automation scripts.

Configuring Selenium Test Environment (STE) to set it upSelenium Environment Setup with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE)Should be able to design the automation frameworkCreating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test casesCollating and monitoring the defect management processManaging the changes and executing regression testsComing up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handlingInteracting with customers/clients to solve the various issues they face and updating on the situationExperience in Agile practices (SCRUM).

Close Coordination & Collaboration with Internal Stakeholder/ External Stakeholders and VendorsStrong Logical Aptitude to understand the overall Application and root out the gaps wherein requiredGood Questioning skills to understand the Root Cause of the requestYour skills and experienceExperience/Exposure:
Overall IT experience of 7+ years4+ years' experience in UI Automation Testing, API testing with JavaSound knowledge of below technical stack (must or equivalent):Java(must), Selenium, Gradle/Maven, API testing (Rest Assured/JMeter/Postman)


CI/CD using Jenkins or TeamcityHands-on experience working on ALM, Jira, Confluence and BitbucketGood experience in designing and implementation of testing frameworks(automation)Building the capability of test results insights, reportingExcellent communication and influencing skillsAbility to work in fast paced environmentAbility to manage the expectations of stakeholdersPassion about sharing knowledge and best practiceAbility to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizationsNeeds to be a self-starter with significant ability to undertake initiatives.

Strong interpersonal / good negotiations skills are required.

Education | Certification (Recommended):
Any Graduate, Postgraduate from an accredited college or universitySoftware Technology tools (Java, Selenium, API testing, CI/CD Teamcity/Jenkins, Test Management – ALM, Defect Management- JIRA, Confluence)

Systems Development LifecycleSkills Required:
Ability to express technical concepts in language accessible to a non-technical audience.

Experienced in Automation Testing using Selenium, Java and API testingKnowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, TeamcitySelf-motivated, thrives in the ambiguity that comes with a lean and agile team.

Good documentation skills.
Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and functions.
