Job Description
- Coordinate and assist in opening/closing duties to ensure all tasks are completed according to standards and procedures
- Support management in supervising team members and casual labor, ensuring tasks are carried out on time and in line with standards
- Manage restaurant reservations/cancellations following departmental guidelines, reconfirming on a daily basis
- Take and record food and beverage orders based on guest preferences
- Deliver food & beverage services following departmental procedures
- Ensure all food & beverage items are served according to service standards
- Up-sell food and beverage offers to maximize sales revenue, offering alternatives when the outlet is full
- Personalize service by remembering patron's names and preferences
- Adhere to hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Collect food and beverage supply requisitions, ensuring accuracy
- Handle guest complaints efficiently and report issues to management
- Oversee assigned work station's activities and manage outlet operations in the absence of management
- Assist other Food & Beverage outlets during peak times
