Vendor Onboarding Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vendor Onboarding Specialist is responsible for leading all regional activities for facilitating the vendor onboarding and new vendor set up processes. Vendor Onboarding Specialist will also support providing reporting/analytics with a long-term focus on supporting the ongoing implementation of Ariba modules. The role will support the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement team to provide data analysis support, advice and provide guidance to the wider business on the vendor onboarding and strategic sourcing related matters. The role requires the individual to be highly organized with analytical mind, to be able to analyze and interpret the data and information from reporting tools, systems and platforms quickly with minimal supervision. This individual will be responsible to manage ad-hoc reporting/analysis and will be supporting the deployment of future Ariba modules including Guided Buying.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supporting the vendor on-boarding module and processes. Setting up of new vendors in a timely manner in line with process and guidelines. Partnering with IPG Agencies, Shared Services, Risk and TPRM team for shared responsibilities.
To lead regional Strategic Sourcing Department with new vendor set up. To provide support with new vendor assessment and thorough review process. Promote the Strategic Sourcing team function within the business at all times, to offer support and guidance to all aspects of the business as required. To become a super user of SAP Ariba and understand/interpret information from the tool. Understanding how vendors are categorized in the Source-to-Pay system and its importance. To provide regional support to Strategic Sourcing Data and Analytics team for: Periodic review and analysis to Strategic Sourcing processes3rd party spend analytics, category refinement and opportunity identification.Review and generate reports/analysis on sourcing activity and Key Performance IndicatorsEDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
The role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills; a positive team-working attitude. Be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize and manage a large and varied workload within agreed deadlines. Previous experience of Ariba vendor onboarding or similar vendor onboarding platform would be advantageous but not essential. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular with MS Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to learn quickly to work with business reporting, systems and platforms. An excellent communicator, comfortable in dealing with personnel at all levels. Organized, self-disciplined and timely in handling administration associated with the job. Responds positively to new situations and challenges. Bachelor's degree in finance, supply chain, operations, management or related area. Minimum 3 years related experience preferably associated with Accounts Payable or Procurement/Strategic Sourcing.-
