About the position

Role: SEO Head

Compensation: Up to INR 15L per annum

Be part of our team in Mumbai and take on the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies: Create and execute innovative SEO plans aligned with our organizational objectives, keeping up to date with industry trends and search engine algorithm updates.
  • Keyword research and analysis: Identify valuable keywords relevant to our industry, analyze their performance, and provide data-driven recommendations to boost search rankings and organic traffic.
  • On-page and off-page optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, URLs, and other on-page elements to enhance search engine visibility. Implement efficient off-page strategies such as link building to strengthen the website's authority.
  • Technical SEO: Collaborate with web developers to address technical SEO issues and ensure optimal crawlability, indexing, site speed, and mobile optimization.
  • Content optimization: Work closely with the content team to optimize existing content, develop SEO-friendly strategies, and enhance organic search visibility.
  • Performance monitoring and reporting: Track and analyze key SEO metrics, generate reports to assess strategy effectiveness, and provide recommendations for enhancement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends: Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, search engine updates, and best practices to drive innovation.
  • Team leadership and collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and align SEO strategies with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Marketing, computer science, or related bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred).
  • At least 7 years of experience in SEO or similar roles with a proven track record of successful strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency in keyword research tools and analytical skills.
  • Experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and website development frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest industry trends and search engine algorithm updates.
