Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

Implementing and shaping the companys QA processes and strategies

Setting and managing both functional and non-functional, manual and Automation, ideally in continuous delivery environment

Setting up and leading the highly efficient QA team and mentor new leaders in team

Define strategy for Performance, Regression, Sanity, UAT, SAT etc. testing Identifying, setting up and managing the operations for the QA Environments, CICD, Security, compliance for multiple products under Sony Liv OTT

Provide guidance and technical expertise in Automation and Quality Assurance setups

Help in hiring, onboarding, training and performance evaluation of all QA managers

Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standard

Monitor all the QA activities, define and track KPIs for product testing quality

Single point of escalation for any matter related to Quality in Sony Liv

Setup up Risk Management, Risk Identification and Risk Based Testing

Excellent organisational, technical, interpersonal and communication skills

Strong analytical skills with ability to think strategically and critically.

Ability to work with all levels within the organisation, including field service team members' management, cross-departmental teams and senior leadership.

Should be a good team player & able to work independently under pressure.

Experience handling the remote and inhouse teams is must.

Strategic thinker balanced with a grasp of details. Must possess the ability to switch between execution and strategy mode most effortlessly.

Ability to see the big picture, visualize the future and develop relevant functional strategies which value add to our business.

Ability to prioritize and cope with competing demands.

Must possess a sense of urgency and excellent execution and project management skills.

Must be excited by and be able to navigate ambiguity.

Passion for results and excellence.

Must be able to get the job done by working collaboratively with others.

Inquisitive and analytical mind; out-of-the-box thinking; bring a creative perspective to business problems applying functional expertise, business understanding and common sense.

Technical Skills :

Minimum 3+ years of Experience in leading the team of 50+ SDET.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Manual, performance, Regression, functional and non-functional testing.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Automation testing with framework like Selenium, Appium, Robot framework etc.

Experience in build test strategy for Backend system like Recommendation, search, CMS, API Layer, CDN, Streaming

Experience in managing and setting up the environment for QA processes.

Good to have experience in OTT domain

Experience in cloud infrastructure, CICD setup, DR and security & compliance testing.

Programming and Software development knowledge

Understanding of Software testing and debugging best practices

Familiarity with Quality assurance and project management tools like XRAY, Zephyr, TestRails etc.
