Position Summary

Provides leadership to animation team that delivers control and movement to characters, creatures, objects, scenery and environment displayed within electronic games, websites or software products. Ensures appropriate use of technical knowledge and process abilities are used in applications such as rigging and skinning, kinetics and basic cinematography. Leads collaboration efforts with programmers and artists to balance seamless movements and optimize performance on the target platform. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel ensuring the efficient operation of the function.

We're looking for an experienced manager to take the helm of our art team, guiding an extremely talented team of Creators who are known for exceptional creativity. We are looking for an experienced manager, who can inspire and be inspired by others to take our creative efforts to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and a passion for delivering dynamic ideas.

Key Responsibilities

Should be able to Lead and manage the graphics team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the timely delivery of projects. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global market to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience. Explore, Develop, and implement design guidelines, standards, and processes to maintain consistency across all visual materials. Stay updated on industry trends, new design techniques, and tools to continuously enhance the quality and efficiency of the graphics team. Review and approve final designs, ensuring they meet brand guidelines and project specifications. Should be able to keep the team motivated to explore and guide them to be positive to work as a team. Should be able to communicate with the Global team and be a bridge between the Designer and the Development team. Should be able to keep track of all the repartees and should take the responsibility to motivate and build the team's core skills. Should be able to track the game progression with a complete record of all the team members role plays.

Experience:

Proven experience as a 2D/3D Artist, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in creating high-quality 3D assets and environments. Experience in Modelling, Texturing, Lighting, Rigging and animation with Blender/Maya or 3ds max is a must. Experience with rendering and compositing in Adobe Suite with strong understanding of the production pipeline. Strong creative vision with attention to business objectives Strong artistic and creative abilities, with an eye for detail and a passion for pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling. Independent self-improvement and troubleshooting skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of current design trends and best practices in the industry. Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to designers to improve their skills and performance. Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms, and their visual requirements.

Required Qualifications

Preferred MFA degree or Master's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field. Proven production experience 12+ in graphic design roles, preferably in a managerial or leadership position. A portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, demonstrating technical skills and creativity. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically to overcome design challenges. Experience with project management tools and software is a plus.
