Job Description:

  • Execute control and movement for characters, creatures, objects, scenery, and environment in electronic games, websites, or software products.
  • Apply technical expertise in rigging, skinning, kinetics, and cinematography techniques.
  • Collaborate with programmers and artists to ensure smooth movements and optimal performance on the designated platform.
  • Utilize animation software like 3ds Max, Maya, Substance, Unity, and Unreal to produce high-quality work.

Requirements:

  • Experienced animator with a minimum of 4 years in the gaming industry, including 2 years in a Senior/Lead Animator role.
  • Proficient in Blender, Motion Builder, Maya, or other 3D software.
  • Familiarity with game engines (Unreal, Unity) and production management tools.
  • Understanding of body mechanics and physicality for creature and animal animation.
  • Knowledge of rigs, animation pipelines, and data transfer between tools.
  • Aesthetic sensibility and profound comprehension of spatial movement.
  • Deep technical knowledge of modern animation pipelines and techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and guide a team of artists, providing clear tasks, goals, and constructive feedback.
  • Utilize Blender for keyframe and motion capture animations to set quality standards.
  • Collaborate with producers to delegate tasks, plan schedules, and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Work with clients to maintain artistic vision and uphold technical standards.
  • Collaborate with Tech Art and Engineering to optimize assets for engine/platform constraints.
  • Enhance the Animation team's capabilities through training, process refinements, and team building.
  • Innovate technically, improve tools and processes, and advocate best practices.
  • Solve technical and aesthetic challenges effectively.
  • Communicate team concerns and ensure proper representation of your discipline.
  • Participate in recruiting talented artists and provide mentorship and coaching.

  • Proficiency in particle animations.
