Job Description

Position Description

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will develop, execute and maintain automation framework to test the product. You are expected to have industry-leading technical abilities that enable you to significantly improve product quality. You should have a combination of solid in-depth knowledge of Automation, Quality Assurance tools and processes. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our quality culture by ensuring top quality processes and metrics. Not only this, you will support our Engineering team and the evolution of the company itself.

Expertise you bring

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 5-8 years of proven experience (as an SDET or strong Automation Engineer) in creating automation frameworks and tools to support test automation. Experience in testing Rest APIs with a strong understanding of RESTful web services. Automated test experience with Selenium. Good programming experience in Python and Golang. Working knowledge of cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, Azure. Experience working on Agile teams in product development. Experience in using test frameworks like Pytest, TestNG. Experience with Continuous Integration. Good analytical skills. Excellence in communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills. Mentoring/ training the team members on complex technical issues.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Performance testing experience using any of the leading open source tools like Apache JMeter/ Gatling/ Locust. Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing. Test Case management tools like TestRail. Requirement management and Bug tracking tools like Jira.
