Job Description :

As an ATG Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of ATG-based applications to ensure seamless and efficient e-commerce platforms.

Your work will directly impact the user experience and overall success of our e-commerce business.

This position is integral to our development team, as you will be responsible for implementing business requirements, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing the performance of our ATG-based systems.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Designing and developing ATGbased applications and components.
  • Implementing and customizing Oracle ATG Web Commerce, including ATG repositories, ATG scenarios, and ATG personalization.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensuring the scalability, performance, and reliability of ATGbased systems through optimization and performance tuning.
  • Integrating and customizing ATG with other enterprise systems and thirdparty applications.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation related to ATG development and customizations.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Resolving technical issues and troubleshooting complex problems related to ATG implementations.
  • Staying updated with new ATG features, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance the ecommerce platform.
  • Collaborating with QA teams to ensure the quality and stability of ATGbased applications through testing and validation.
  • Supporting and maintaining existing ATGbased applications, including enhancements and upgrades.
  • Implementing RESTful web services and API integrations for ATG applications.
  • Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.

Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Java/JEEbased web applications across Dev, QA and Production environments.
  • Java Performance profiling experience (including thread and heap dump analysis) to help debug issues around memory leak, thread, jdbc connections, sessions, etc.
  • Strong experience with various monitoring tools such as AppDynamics (preferred), New Relic, Splunk (preferred), Extrahop, vSphere, Solarwinds Orion etc.
  • Experience with Developer tools, Fiddler and traffic capture tools such as Wireshark.
  • Experienced with Apache/Tomcat web servers and JBoss application server (v 7.x).
  • Detailed knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) and SQL queries.
  • Strong Application and Database debugging experience.
  • Selfstarter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities within a fastpaced work environment.
  • Must be highly motivated and dependable with excellent communication skills.
  • Production support experience with Ecommerce websites is preferred.
  • Prior experience with the Oracle ATG Web Commerce platform is highly preferred.
  • Support applications in Cloud platforms like Azure, and AWS are highly preferred.
