As a Commi Chef, you will work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen staff to ensure the highest standards of food preparation and presentation are consistently maintained.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of authentic Indian dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Ensure all food products are fresh and of high quality before use.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials.
  • Monitor food stock levels and communicate inventory needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with company standards and regulations.
  • Uphold a positive and professional attitude while working in a fastpaced kitchen environment.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including uniform and grooming standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Commi Chef or in a similar role, preferably in an Indian restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a highpressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
