In This Role, You Will:
  • Independently grasp and conceptualize clients' design requirements through various communication channels (email, verbal, or phone conversations).
  • Utilize Cvent's Internal CMS tool to implement approved design mock-ups/elements based on client requirements, which involve:
    • Create design artworks as per client specifications.
    • Implement approved web designs in the CMS using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Identify necessary adjustments and workarounds in a technically constrained CMS environment.
    • Develop design elements for clients' mobile apps or websites according to their needs.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who serves as a project manager, maintaining effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience that aligns with and enhances the broader Cvent product ecosystem.
  • Make informed managerial decisions when necessary and collaborate effectively with the team to deliver top-notch design solutions while excelling as an individual contributor.
  • Take necessary actions to resolve issues, going the extra mile if required.

What You Need:

To excel in this role, you should:

  • Have the ability to write clean, well-structured, and dependable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
  • Feel comfortable working on a project from initial vague briefs through development and deployment, with minimal supervision.
  • Be a proactive problem solver who is unafraid to share ideas and engage in discussions.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
  • Be proficient in technical documentation.
  • Possess excellent stakeholder and real-time management abilities, coupled with a robust business acumen.
  • Be self-motivated and driven, committed to continuous learning.
  • Demonstrate expertise in hand coding HTML/CSS, along with good experience in jQuery implementation and JavaScript.
  • Show proficiency in Graphic Design using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with a keen eye for color schemes, aesthetics, typography, and interactivity.
  • Have practical experience in creating GIFs and Motion Graphics.
  • Understand GIT and Stash, and possess knowledge of Accessibility standards (508 Compliance/WCAG) as an added advantage.
  • Have over 3 years of experience in web design, development, or computer-aided design roles.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree; preference will be given to candidates with a degree in multimedia, web development, graphic design, Applied Art, or related fields.
