Deputy Manager Finance

Reports To-Finance Controller
Position Focus-The incumbent will be a part of the core management team, reporting to Plant Finance controller. He / She will play a strong business support role. The incumbent will focus on US / Indian GAAP reporting, regulatory and statutory compliances, SOX and Internal Controls, CAPEX.
Education / Experience Qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant with a minimum 8 years (post qualification work experience).
- Additional qualifications if any CPA / CMA / ACS will be a plus.
- Candidate must display a good understanding of US & Indian GAAP, Indian statutory requirements including direct / indirect taxation, transfer pricing, SOX and Business Controls, Credit Control and should have handson experience of the above areas.
- Candidate must be fully conversant with Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost & Credit Control, Margin Analysis, Costing & Profitability Analysis, Free Cash flow and Management Reporting.
- Working knowledge of ERP system is a must. Knowledge of MFG-PRO / Hyperion will be a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail are a must.
- Timely and accurate Financial Accounting and Audits as per IFRS & Indian Accounting standards, Forecasting and MIS reporting. Responsible for monthly reporting, variance analysis and to provide adequate explanation for the monthly, quarterly and yearly analysis.
- Oversees all accounting procedures and systems and internal controls used in the company.
- Supports the preparation of budgets and financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow analysis, tax returns and reports for Government regulatory agencies.
- Motivates the immediate reporting staff for better performance and effective service and encourage team spirit.
- Coordinates with the senior and junior management of other departments as well, as every department in the organization is directly or indirectly associated with the finance department.
