Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer

In this role, you will:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impactAct as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplinesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programsReview and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factorsMake decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goalsLead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentorRequired Qualifications:
5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Overall 8+ years of recent systems engineering, software engineering, site reliability, or dev-ops experience in a medium to large scale production Linux or other UNIX environment6+ years' experience in industry standard CI/CD tools like Git/BitBucket/GitLab, Jenkins, Harness, Ansible, and Terraform.

Experience designing and implementing an effective and efficient CI/CD flow that gets code from dev to prod with high quality and minimal manual effort is desired.6+ years' experience in developing innovative process automation and customer self-service6+ years' experience in one or more of the following is preferred: Java, Python, Go, SQLSystematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.

Ability to help debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.3+ years' experience with Linux operating systems internals (e.g.

, file systems, system calls),3+ years with containers:

Experience designing large-scale distributed systems.

Experience designing and developing software oriented towards IT Operations process and customer self-service automationAbility to debug, optimize code, and automate complex/routine tasks.
