The primary focus of a Business Development Consultant is to generate demand for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions and services through a mix of inbound enquiries and outbound prospecting within an assigned territory or vertical.
As a Business Development Consultant, you will act as the first contact for many prospects in the Oracle business. It is a challenging, exciting role that will test your sales skills, tenacity and hunting skills, strategic thinking capabilities, ability to remain focused, and follow-through.
Identifying ISVs with good business potential. Generating business for Oracle Cloud IaaS & PaaS solutions using social and digital channels, and outbound cold calling to reach ISVs. Qualifying Oracle prospects, produce quality leads for the Oracle Sales Team, and identify/drive product expansion opportunities via high-value relationships with existing ISVs. Ensuring quick and effective response to meet ISV demand for Oracle Cloud solutions. Keeping up with training and development request to make you more effective in your role. Pursuing targeted ISVs to migrate and grow their footprint with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Applying consultative approach in understanding and analyzing ISVs' needs. Communicating Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's Value Proposition. Participating in 4-way collaboration with Business Development, Sales, Pre-Sales and ISVs to build solutions.-
