Job Summary
As the Chief Financial Officer at The White Willow, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company.
Working closely with the executive team, you will play a key role in driving financial strategy, planning, and execution to support the company's growth and financial health.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Invoicing: Prepare and issue invoices to customers and ensure timely collection of receivables.
- Cash Flow Management: Optimize cash flow and liquidity management to support daily operations and longterm strategic initiatives.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Financial Compliance: Oversee compliance with financial regulations and standards, ensuring the company's financial practices meet legal requirements.
- Investment Strategy: Evaluate investment opportunities, assess financial feasibility, and provide recommendations for strategic financial decisions.
- Cost Management: Implement cost control measures and efficiency improvements to enhance the company's profitability.
- Tax Compliance: Support in ensuring timely and accurate compliance with tax regulations.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with external partners, auditors, and financial institutions to enhance financial processes and relationships.
- Expense Management: Process and reconcile company expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
- Bank Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
- Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of documentation and information for internal and external audits.
- Ad hoc Tasks: Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by the CFO to contribute to the efficiency of the finance department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CFO, Accounts Executive or in a senior financial leadership role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Indepth knowledge of financial regulations, reporting, and compliance.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in the retail or consumer goods industry is advantageous.
