Our client is one of SA's leading suppliers of perspex, acrylics and more, to industry We are looking to recruit outstanding customer focused candidates who go above and beyond for their clients.
Overview of the role:
The Customer Engagement Specialist makes sure our customers are getting the best experience across all our clients' interaction channels, whether online or offline.
Purpose of the role:
To provide potential and existing customers with exceptional services, by identifying customer needs, responding to customer queries, and collaborating with internal departments to optimize customer services and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
To effectively engage with external customers to deliver an X-Factor experience through expert advice and solutions thinking.
- Accept and process customer orders efficiently and deliver what is promised every time.
- Provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders.
- Promptly deal with all enquiries or complaints.
- Check stock availability and liaise with supply chain to ensure fulfillment of the order.
- Identify possible solutions in the event of stock outs or delays.
- NCR reporting, with root cause analysis for continual improvement.
- Cross-sell across the business.
Education
- Matric as minimum requirement.
- Proven experience in similar role and industry.
- Diploma / Degree preferable.
- Computer literate.
- Presentation and communication.
- Strong administrative skills and familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
- Highly organised, strong attention to detail, excellent time management.
- Possess a natural curiosity to proactively present solutions.
- Ability to multitask and work in a highly pressurised environment.
- Positive attitude.
- A passion for customer service.
- Ability to pick up the phone & sell with confidence.
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative.
- Track record of over-achieving quota.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Requirements
Education Matric as minimum requirement. Proven experience in similar role and industry. Diploma / Degree preferable. Computer literate. Knowledge, Skills & Ability Presentation and communication.
