Job Description: As a Librarian Consultant you shall be responsible for doing the SWOT analysis of the existing knowledge centre/ Library (Partially Physical & Partially Digital) and assess to fill the gaps with respect to what is to be needed for Digital publisher like ETV BHARAT.

Key Deliverables:

  • Organizing digital and physical library collections and databases by tagging, cataloguing and creating metadata using industry-standard software programs (if required).
  • Establishing policies regarding copyright laws and fair use of copyrighted materials.
  • Analysing user needs in order to recommend improvements to existing library services or development of new services.
  • Developing policies and procedures for managing digital library collections.
  • Maintaining an inventory of Physical and Digital library resources with full semantic indexing and ensuring they are available to the users on demand.
  • Conducting research to identify new technologies related to digital libraries.

Requirements:

1. Incumbent must have atleast 10 Years of 1st hand experience in managing Digital Library services.

2. Must have qualification of Masters in Library Sciences or Information Services

3. Having News background is an added advantage.

Work Location:

Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
