Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify market trends and predict consumer demand to select merchandise for the ecommerce platform.
  • Create seasonal merchandising plan by studying past online sales data and offline trend
  • Work on discounting strategies for the website for both new season as well as old season merchandise.
  • Work closely with the marketing team and product team to strategies and execute product launches, collection curation, sales events, and other promotions for website and ecommerce platforms
  • Work on online exclusive strategies and product finalization of each season with competitive pricing and market trend.
  • Manage and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of fabrics and products
  • Study and publish reports on sell through, sales trend, collection performance, color/price/category trend, bestsellers and slow movers
- weekly, monthly.

  • Conduct competitive research and analysis to stay uptodate on industry trends and best practices.
  • Maintain positive relationships with other buyers, product team and designers.
  • Remain up to date with industry's best practices

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in merchandising, or a related field
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience with analyzing sales data and managing inventory levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel is a must. Good to have hands on experience with Microsoft ppt and word doc.
