WHO WILL BE RIGHT FIT : Tech Director - Go Lang
- An experienced Engineering leader who has a development background utilizing GO LANG
- Effectively managed the engineering team and operations of the delivery team.
- Who will provide technical guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction to the engineering team
- Ensuring high-quality software development and on-time project delivery.
Role Expectations:
- Previous recent experience in a similar role, managing the day-to-day of multiple engineering teams from the people and delivery side.
- Experience of working in fast-growing, high-tech engineering organizations where you have seen and played a big part in hyper-growth phases.
- Ability to develop the organization by initiating and taking strategic action, and convey mission and purpose from a business and technical perspective.
- Able to guide the engineering teams through change and improvement of overall processes.
- Responsible for employee management and development including hiring, training, performance management, career development, skill development, etc.
- Background is software development utilizing Golang, ideally, you will also have good knowledge of Dockers and Kubernetes
- Understanding of stream processing (e.g. Kafka), RESTful APIs, and micro-services
- Understanding of Cloud Computing, Containers, CI/CD, and Deployments, preferably on the Google Cloud Platform
- Has worked in the Agile Framework (Scrum, Kanban, etc)
- Provides feedback to the Product Owner to help drive roadmap and direction based on industry demands, usability, bugs, and product efficiencies.
- Has a good understanding of operational issues, load balancing, performance, etc
- Collaborate with other technical leaders to ensure consistent and smooth Project workflows.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across the organization.
- Ability to take ownership and initiate plans
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 12+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Experience with GO Programming and other relevant technologies and frameworks
- Experience with the latest technology and software trends.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
