Job TitleData Governance - SQA Engineer -Tech LeadRole Summary&Role DescriptionChief Data Office , GTS at State Street has a mandate to govern and report on data health across the enterprise and is rolling out multiple initiatives to delvier on the Operating Model and generate value for our internal and external clients.

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer who is responsible for testing the software applications (Automation & Manual) in an agile environment and can comprehend new technologies, come up to speed quickly and adapt to evolving requirementsAs SQA Engineer you will be responsible forExperience in creating testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports assessing quality and associated risk.

Writing test cases, covering both sanity and in-depth testing including and not limited to boundary, negative, compatibility, end to end, and concurrency tests.

Strong knowledge and experience in SQL Database testing.
Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills .Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches (functional and automated testing) in a software company with short release cycles.

Experience in Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming language and Automation would be a plus (nice to have)Person with experience of working in agile methodology - JIRACore/Must have skillsMinimum having 4+ years of hands-on experience as SQA Engineer with Automation & Manual skillsSoftware testing experience including test planning, test case design, test automation and test methodologies.

Strong knowledge and experience in SQL Database testing.
