Position Overview:
General Manager, People & Business Operations


We are currently on the lookout for a Leader in ZenTrades, who can work on various human resources operations and ensure they're aligned with our business goals.

We are seeking candidates with a credible attitude, who are humble, energetic, ambitious, and can thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

We're looking for a high-energy, focused, outgoing person who is technically savvy and is quick on the feet.

This position offers a great opportunity for a proactively engaging individual who can work to identify gaps and manage them.

You will have the flexibility to take certain decisions needed to scale a team and quickly drive towards the finish line.


As an HR and Business Operations Leader, you will orchestrate HR strategies in alignment with organizational goals, oversee talent acquisition, retention, and development, and optimize operational processes for efficiency and compliance.

Considering this to be a high-impact role, you would have to work with the CEO and Senior Management, which will require you to work as our Customers Schedule, US shift (5 pm to 3 am

Employee Management:
 Oversee all aspects of employee management, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding, ensuring a positive employee experience and high levels of engagement and productivity.

- Financial Management: Manage the company's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization strategies, to ensure efficient resource allocation and financial sustainability.

- Operations Oversight: Directly manage operational processes across various departments, optimizing workflows, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Strategic Alignment with CEO: Collaborate closely with the CEO to align HR, financial, and operational strategies with organizational goals, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making and drive business growth.

Functional Leadership:
 Lead cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives, fostering collaboration and communication across departments to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving company-wide goals.

- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization, innovation, and growth to enhance overall company performance and competitiveness

- Execute HR initiatives - talent development, employee relations, employee appraisals, organizational development, and other generalist activities.

  • Be the engagement point of contact for all requests regarding workplace support.
  • Plan and organize teambuilding events and assist in cultivating a collaborative, friendly, and fun work environment.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency and ways to improve our employer brand and candidate Graduate/Post Graduate in Engineering, Business, HR, Communications, or similar
  • Early Experience in HR Operations, TA and Payroll Management
  • Strong understanding of finances and data analysis will be an added advantage
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, G-Suite tools, and experience working with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience working with a technology startup would be a bonus.
  • Have managed a team 5+ Years of experience in HR and People Operations
  • Ability to collaborate with leaders from crossfunctional teams to strategize, work closely with the CEO to drive company growth initiatives, support operations in optimizing efficiency, partner with IT and support team, liaise with the Finance team for payroll and financial decisionmaking, and actively participate in budgeting and P&L discussions with senior stakeholders
  • Highly Driven and Hungry individuals with strong organizational skills with a good eye for talent to quickly screen resumes identifying fit. Selfstarter with exceptional persistence to excel in a quickly changing, unstructured environment.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple events, and conflicting priorities.
  • Have high levels of personal accountability, sound judgment, and discretion in handling confidential information and situations.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills conveying clear and impactful messages through various channels across levels and building strong, productive relationships.
  • Comfortable with numbers and drawing insights from analytics to make our processes smarter and more efficient. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding exceptions in resultsmeasured environment.
