Job Description


Position Reports to: Head of HR

Job location: Chennai

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Development Specialist to join our Human Resources team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing talent development programs that foster the growth and development of our employees.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for learning and development, and the ability to create impactful training initiatives that align with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Create and develop comprehensive talent development programs, including leadership development, skill enhancement, and career pathing initiatives.
  • High Potential (Hi-Pot)

Programs:
Identify, develop, and manage high-potential employees to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders.

  • Succession Planning: Design and implement effective successionplanning strategies to identify and prepare future leaders for key roles within the organization.
  • Leadership Development: Develop and implement leadership development frameworks that align with the company's strategic objectives, fostering leadership skills across all levels.
  • Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions, workshops, and seminars both inperson and virtually.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across the organization.
  • Program Management: Manage and oversee all aspects of talent development programs, from planning and budgeting to execution and evaluation.
  • Performance Improvement: Collaborate with managers and employees to identify performance improvement opportunities and implement targeted development plans.
  • Evaluation and Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through metrics and feedback, and continuously improve the curriculum based on findings.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Provide oneonone coaching and mentoring to employees to support their professional growth and career advancement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior leaders, department heads, and HR partners to ensure alignment of talent development strategies with business objectives.
  • Learning Technology: Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other technologies to enhance the delivery and tracking of training programs.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in talent development and integrate them into the organization's learning Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 812 years of experience in talent development, learning and development, or a related HR field.
  • Skills:
o Strong facilitation and presentation skills.

o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

o Ability to design and implement effective training programs.

o Proficiency in using learning management systems and other educational technologies.

o Strong analytical skills and ability to assess training effectiveness.

o Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development) or SHRM-CP (Certified Professional) are a plus.
