Work you will do.

The key job responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide network and cloud security design and implementation
  • hands-on
  • support for F5 products, specifically including but not limited to BIG-IP LTM, GTM, SSLO etc.
  • Assess existing infrastructure, find security gaps, provide recommendations, design and suggest architectural changes, security controls for cloud environment, specifically AWS cloud
  • Undertake design, solutioning and architecture changes involving F5 products in the cloud environments
  • Provide recommendations, and offer thought leadership around security best practices esp. for data in transit involving AWS networking and security services, F5 and firewall products (in cloud)
Perform hands-on installation, configuration, and upgrades to F5 products in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure etc.

Manage F5 build and configurations - e.g., configuring pools, virtual servers, load balancing methods, SNAT, server/client profiles, SSL based configuration, iRules etc.


  • Reproduce issues to verify problems and document steps to replicate for Support, Engineering and Operations teams.
  • Manage access requests, port management (opening/closing), route changes, etc.
  • Manage storage and backup of current configuration
  • Maintain and update current state firewall topology diagrams
  • Perform periodic health monitoring and maintenance of the security tool for the duration of the project. Specifically monitoring capacity, monitoring logs for issues etc.
  • Monitor license expiry for the instances of the inscope tools
  • Monitor and renew certificates for the inscope tools (as applicable)
  • Coordinate with solution vendor for product upgrades/security patches, and troubleshooting productrelated defects and issues
  • Perform upgrades and deploy patches post impact analysis in nonproduction and production environment in accordance with change management protocol
  • Interact with clients, including working with client teams in an onsite and offshore delivery model
  • Lead requirements gathering, design documentation by conducting workshops in onsite/offshore delivery model for multiple projects
  • Lead and work closely with vendor alliances
  • Manage project deliverables and teams
  • Manage and mitigate project risks
  • Enable business development by assisting in request for proposal and sales processes
  • Lead process compliance activities by identifying and driving initiatives that are relevant for the project delivery and help factor reusability and related benefits
  • Contribute to eminence activities, such as whitepapers pertaining to Network Security technologies

Execute hands-on installation, configuration, and upgrades of F5 products within prominent cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure.

Mastermind F5 configurations, intricately shaping load balancing methods, SSL-based setups, iRules, and more.

Reimagine security infrastructure by suggesting architectural changes and proactively addressing security gaps.


Champion security best practices, particularly for data in transit, by harmonizing AWS networking and security services with F5 and firewall offerings.

Engage in insightful discussions with clients, offering design recommendations, and shepherding architectural enhancements.

Monitor the health of security tools, manage license renewals, and diligently update certificates to ensure the utmost security posture.

Lead workshops and documentation efforts, capturing project requirements and designing comprehensive solutions.

Collaborate with vendor partners, ushering in product upgrades, security patches, and effective troubleshooting.

Demonstrate project leadership by managing deliverables, mitigating risks, and fostering seamless collaboration within cross-functional teams.

Contribute to business development initiatives by lending your expertise to request for proposal and sales processes.

Uphold process compliance standards, identifying reusability opportunities and championing initiatives that enhance project delivery.
