In this role, you will:
As part of the Distributed Technology Operations (DTO)/Triage team, the Technology Operation Analyst (TOA) primary role will be to provide technical expertise to highly complex issues and initiatives related to the support and maintenance of the Corporate Distributed Computing Platforms (OS and Hardware) both Virtual and Physical including the following core focus areas; Windows Servers, UNIX based Servers (AIX, Solaris, HP-UX), Linux based Servers (Red Hat SuSE).
Working as part of the Distributed Technology Operations team, candidate will assume responsibility for event escalation, alert and incident management service, change event support and execution service, break fix service including problem diagnosis, troubleshooting repair and resolution of issues impacting systems and impaired user functionality.
This Operations team provides 24 x7 services and the candidate will be required to work a day shift position scheduled
  • Participate in initiatives and identify opportunities for technology operations
  • Evaluate basic or tactical challenges that require research and evaluation
  • Provide centralized command and control for major incident management, ensuring teams focus first on restoring business services
  • Review, analyze and escalate issues from key metric analysis, event monitors, reported service deviations, and documented changes
  • Develop knowledge business cycles and capabilities to assess the impact of technology events on the business and other support areas
  • Reduce the impact of application and infrastructure failures on business delivery
  • Engage various teams of trouble-shooters to assess system health and issues
  • Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations
  • Provide information to functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 3+ years of Windows OS administration experience
    1+ years of virtualization technologies experience
    MCSA/Redhat or CompTIA A+ Certification (is that the same as A+ certification, which is preferred)
    Knowledge and understanding of technology support: ticketing workflow systems, in a production environment
    Experience working with PowerShell
    CompTIA Server+ Certification (is that the same as Server+ certification, which is preferred)
    Problem resolution management experience for technical bridge line calls
    SAN/NAS/Backup knowledge
    At least 1 year experience in Unix administration.

Required Qualifications, International:
  • Experience in Technology Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Windows OS administration experience
    1+ years of virtualization technologies experience
