Senior Data Engineer – Tableau Tiger Analytics is a global AI and analytics consulting firm.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work to enhance our business intelligence system to help us makebetter decisions; seamlessly switch between roles of an Individual Contributor, team member, and datascience engineer as demanded by each project to create and manage BI and analytics solutions thatturn data into knowledge.

On a typical day, you might· Translate business needs to technical specifications.· Design, build and deploy BI solutions with Tableau as the primary BI skill· Leverage Tableau to maintain & support data analytics platforms.· Involve yourself in unit testing and troubleshooting.· Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.· Create visualizations and build reports that exceed the expectations of the clients.· Work on enhancing the BI systems that exist.· Develop or ensure that the tech documentation developed is updated.· Understand any Bi-level SLAs and take care of BI performance tuningJob Requirement What do we expect? Skills that we'd love · 7-10 years of overall experience having atleast 4+ years of relevant experience in Tableau with a strong background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.· In-depth understanding of database management systems and online analytical processing (OLAP) with strong exposure to ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework and any ETL tool would be an added advantage· Should have strong experience working in Tableau :
  • Model creationo Creating Measureso RLS Implementationo Performance Tuningo Security· Comprehensive knowledge of SQL.· Proven abilities to take initiative and be an innovative analytical mind with a problem
  • solving aptitude· Adept understanding of any of the cloud services is preferred (Azure).
